It resize resolution output signal 480 to 1080i or 720p. What is desirable, as the television while the conversion.
But the resolution will not be better than the Blu-ray or HD-DVD because the picture just as good as the original encoding of Blu-Ray and HD is at a higher interest rate.
A converter driver seems a little better, but perhaps not as good as true HD or Blu-ray. The definition is not only a standard DVD, lest it look so good.
